BIGGER IN TEXAS: After two weeks off, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads to Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas this weekend for the eighth race of the season. Austin Hill will pilot the Ennis Steel No. 02 Chevrolet Silverado and team president Tyler Young will pilot the FINDARANCH.com Texas Rig Equipment No. 20 in Saturday’s Rattlesnake 400.
HILL’S HISTORY AT TEXAS: The Winston, Ga., native has had three previous NCWTS starts at the 1.5-mile track. In those trio of starts, he has finished no worse than 19th and has a pair of top-15 results, the best coming last year when he brought the No. 02 home in 11th.
YOUNG RETURNS HOME: Young’s Motorsports’ team president will make his first NCWTS start of the season in this weekend’s Rattlesnake 400. The Midland, Texas native has had 10 NCWTS starts at his home track. He has scored a trio of top-15 finishes, with back-to-back 14th-place efforts in 2014 and 2015 being his best results.
