CHICAGOLAND SPEEDWAY: The Young’s Motorsports teams head to Joliet, Ill., this weekend for round 11 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS). Austin Hill will be piloting the No. 02 Young’s Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado and 20-year-old Max Tullman will be making his NCWTS debut in the No. 20 Yurpal.com Chevrolet Silverado in this Friday night’s Overton’s 225 at Chicagoland Speedway.
AUSTIN HILL: Although Winston, Ga., native Hill has never competed at Chicagoland Speedway, he has had 15 previous starts at other 1.5-mile tracks in the NCWTS. In those 15 starts, he has scored two top-10 results – one in 2017 at Kentucky Speedway and one at Las Vegas this season, both with Young’s Motorsports. He has also earned seven top-15 efforts and has only finished outside of the top-20 once.
MAX TULLMAN: As previously announced by Motorsports.com, Chester Springs, Penn., native Tullman will make his NCWTS debut this weekend with Young’s Motorsports. The pilot of the No. 20 Yurpal.com Chevrolet started racing quarter midgets at the age of 11 and advanced into racing a spec Miata in Sports Car Club of America and National Auto Sport Association. In 2015, Tullman moved on to compete in the IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Series and has currently made one NASCAR K&N Pro Series start and six ARCA Racing Series starts this season.
