Young’s Motorsports’ NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series History at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park ... This weekend will mark Young’s Motorsports’ eighth, ninth, and 10th NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series (NGOTS) starts at the Bowmanville-facility in Ontario, Canada. The organization posted a team best eighth-place finish on August 26, 2018 with driver Austin Hill. The seven previous starts at the 2.459-mile, 10-turn road course have earned Young’s Motorsports an average starting position of 15.7 and an average finish of 18.6.


Young’s Motorsports’ NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series History ... Since entering the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series in 2012, the Mooresville, N.C., -based organization has logged 213 starts from 25 drivers, resulting in solid performances that include four top-five finishes and 22 top-10 finishes, with an average starting position of 19.7 and an average finishing position of 19.1.


Putting the Young in Young’s Motorsports … Young’s Motorsports team principal Tyler Young has three starts in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

O Canada ... This weekend marks Tyler Dippel’s first Canadian Tire Motorsport Park appearance with the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series.


Road Course Stats: This weekend marks Tyler Dippel’s road course debut with the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series. The Wallkill, N.Y., driver has seven starts on road courses, with entries at the New Jersey Motorsports Park, VIRginia International Raceway, and the Watkins Glen International in the NASCAR K & N Pro Series East.


Atop the Pit Box: Chad Kendrick … Chad Kendrick, crew chief for the No. 02 Lobas! Productions Chevrolet Silverado, has one victory with Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) driver Ryan Blaney, as well as three top-five finishes and five top-10 finishes in six starts in the NASCAR Gander Outdoor Truck Series at the Bowmanville-facility in Ontario, Canada. He maintains the highest average finish (7.2) of the Young’s Motorsports crew chiefs at the 2.459-mile track. Kendrick has led 43 laps as a crew chief at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.


In the Rearview Mirror: Bristol Motor Speedway ... Tyler Dippel, driver of the No. 02 Jersey Filmmaker Chevrolet Silverado for Young’s Motorsports, finished in the 24th-place in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series UNOH 200 presented by Ohio Logistics at the Bristol Motor Speedway on Thursday, August 15. Dippel started in the 19th-place in the 32-truck field, and at the Stage 1 conclusion on Lap 55, Dippel was in the 16th-place. By the end of Stage 2 on Lap 110, he held the 16th-place. On Lap 130 Dippel was involved in a multi-truck incident in Turn 2, and again on Lap 182 which resulted in red-flag conditions. The Wallkill, N.Y.- native was scored as high as the 13th-place.


Season-to-date … Through the first 17 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series races of the 2019 season, Tyler Dippel has completed 2410 of 2615 laps contested (92.2 percent), and has led two laps. Dippel is currently 13th in the driver point standings, and 14th in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series owner points. In addition, the Young’s Motorsports driver has collected one top-five finish and three top-10 finishes, has spent 1,040 laps running in the top 15 and has made 682 green-flag passes thus far this season.

Canada, Eh? ... This weekend marks Gus Dean’s first Canadian Tire Motorsport Park appearance with the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series.


Road Course Stats: This weekend marks Gus Dean’s road course debut with the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series. The Bluffton, S.C., -native has three starts on road courses, with entries at the Carolina Motorsports Park and at Road America in the Allison Legacy Race Series and in the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) Racing Series, respectively.


Atop the Pit Box: Jordan Irving … Jordan Irving, crew chief of the No. 12 OverkillRV.com Chevrolet Silverado, will make his debut as crew chief in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, located just outside of Toronto and formerly known as Mosport.


In the Rearview Mirror: Bristol Motor Speedway … Gus Dean, driver of the No. 12 LG Air Conditioning Technologies Chevrolet Silverado for Young’s Motorsports, finished in the 18th-place on the lead lap in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series UNOH 200 presented by Ohio Logistics at the Bristol Motor Speedway on Thursday, August 15. The 24-year old started in the 23rd-place at the Bristol, Tenn., -facility. Dean finished Stage 1 in the 22nd-place on Lap 55 and at the end of Stage 2 on Lap 110, advanced to the 19th-place. The Bluffton, S.C., native was scored as high as the 10th-place.

“I have studied a lot of film from past events and pictures of the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. In addition, I participated in a road course school earlier this week in preparation. Hopefully, our team can come out of Canada with a respectable finish and focus on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.”


Season-to-date … Through the first 17 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series races of the 2019 season, Gus Dean has completed 2020 of 2615 laps contested (77.2 percent). Dean is currently 16th in the driver point standings and 20th in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series owner points. In addition, the Young’s Motorsports driver has spent 642 laps running in the top 15 and has made 526 green-flag passes thus far this season.

In the Great White North … This weekend marks Dylan Lupton’s first Canadian Tire Motorsport Park appearance with the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series.


Road Course Stats: This weekend marks Dylan Lupton’s road course debut with the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series. The Wilton, Calif., -native has 12 starts on road courses including five top-five finishes, with entries at the Brainerd International Raceway, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Road America, Sonoma Raceway, Utah Motorsports Campus, and the Watkins Glen International. Lupton has made left and right turns in the NASCAR K & N Pro Series West, NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS), and the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, respectively.


Atop the Pit Box: Buddy Sisco … Buddy Sisco, crew chief for the No. 20 Young's Building Systems / Randco Industries Chevrolet Silverado, has one (2018) start in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
