Young’s Motorsports’ NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series History at the Daytona International Speedway ... This weekend will mark Young’s Motorsports’ seventh, eighth, and ninth NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series starts at the Daytona Beach, Fla.,-facility. The organization posted a team best finish of fifth-place with driver Scott Lagasse, Jr. on February 16, 2018. Six starts at the 2.5-mile tri-oval superspeedway have earned Young’s Motorsports an average starting position of 19.8 and an average finish of 15.3.


Young’s Motorsports’ NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series History ... Since entering the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series in 2012, the Mooresville, N.C.,-based organization has logged 162 starts from 21 drivers, resulting in solid performances that include two top-five finishes and 18 top-10 finishes, with an average starting position of 19.7 and an average finishing position of 19.2.


Putting the Young in Young’s Motorsports … Young’s Motorsports team principal Tyler Young has one top-10 finish in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series in four starts at the Daytona International Speedway.

Catch the Action ... The NextEra Energy 250 will be broadcast live on FS1 on Friday, February 15 starting with NASCAR RaceDay: NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series at 7:00 p.m. (ET). It will also broadcast live at 7:00 p.m. (ET) on the Motor Racing Network (MRN) and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. Qualifying for the first event of the 2019 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series schedule will air on Friday at 4:30 p.m. (ET) on FS1. In addition, the practice session on Thursday, February 14 will be televised live on FS1 at 2:30 p.m. (ET), and final practice for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at 4:30 p.m. (ET).

The NextEra Energy Resources 250 at the Daytona International Speedway will re-air on Saturday, February 16 at 7:00 a.m. (ET) on FS1.

This Week's Young’s Motorsports’ Chevrolet Silverado at the Daytona International Speedway ... Tyler Dippel will pilot Chassis No. 13 in the NextEra Energy 250 at the Daytona International Speedway. The Chad Kendrick-led team last unloaded this Young’s Motorsports prepared chassis at the Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway on October 13, 2018 with driver Austin Hill, where they finished in the tenth-place after starting in the tenth-place in the chassis’ second appearance of the 2018 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series season. At the chassis’ last appearance at the Daytona International Speedway, the chassis produced an 11th-place finish with Hill.


Welcome to Daytona Beach ... This weekend marks Tyler Dippel’s first Daytona International Speedway appearance with the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series.


Restrictor Plate Stats: This weekend marks Tyler Dippel’s restrictor plate debut with the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series.


Fast Times in Small Towns: Florida Short Tracks … Tyler Dippel’s home state of New York may be covered in snow and ice, but he has heated-up the state of Florida in the past. Dippel has two top-ten finishes at the New Smyrna Speedway in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East in three starts. In 2016, Dippel was the fastest through three practice sessions of Super DIRTcar Series Big-Block Modifieds at the Volusia Speedway Park during DIRTcar Nationals. He participated in two years of DIRTcar Nationals at the Volusia Speedway Park for a total of eight starts.


Sophomore Year: NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series ... Tyler Dippel made his NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series debut on July 18, 2018 at the Eldora Speedway. Dippel collected four top-15 finishes across five starts in 2018 – with 782 of 784 contended laps completed. It will be the first full-time season for Dippel in the NASCAR Gander Outdoor Truck Series. The Wallkill, N.Y.,-native will contend for the 2019 Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors.


Atop the Pit Box: Chad Kendrick … While this marks crew chief Chad Kendrick's first season with Dippel, it will mark his third season atop the pit box for the organization, returning to the No. 02 team. Kendrick, crew chief for the No. 02 Lobas Productions Chevrolet Silverado, has one victory with John King (2012), two top-five finishes and six top-ten finishes in the NASCAR Gander Outdoor Truck Series at the Daytona Beach, Fla.,-facility in 10 starts.


Double-Duty: In the first leg of his first double-duty at the Daytona International Speedway, Tyler Dippel returned to the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) Racing Series. Dippel was behind-the-wheel of the No. 52 D and A Concrete Contractor / TyCar Trenchless Technologies Ford for Ken Schrader Racing (KSR) finishing in the 12th-place. Since 2015, the 18-year old has eight starts in the ARCA Racing Series with two top-five finishes and three top-ten finishes.

This Week's Young’s Motorsports’ Chevrolet Silverado at the Daytona International Speedway ... Gus Dean will pilot Chassis No. 02 in the NextEra Energy 250 at the Daytona International Speedway. This Young’s Motorsports prepared chassis was last unloaded at the Talladega Superspeedway on October 13, 2018 with driver Tanner Thorson, led by crew chief Mark Rette (now of Rette Jones Racing), where they finished in the 31st-place after being involved in an incident. Thorson had a 17th-place qualifying effort at the Talladega Superspeedway.


At the ‘World Center of Racing’ ... This weekend marks Gus Dean’s first Daytona International Speedway appearance with the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series. Dean has four starts in the ARCA Racing Series at the Daytona International Speedway. The Bluffton, S.C.,-native participated in the ARCA Racing Series open test at the Daytona International Speedway on January 11 and 12.


Restrictor Plate Stats: This weekend marks Gus Dean’s restrictor plate debut with the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series. In seven combined ARCA Racing Series starts on restrictor plate tracks (Daytona International Speedway and the Talladega Superspeedway), Dean has an average finish of 19.6 – including a victory at the Talladega Superspeedway (2016).


Florida Connection: On January 5, 2019, Gus Dean finished in the fourth-place in the Super Late Model Feature at the New Smyrna Speedway. He has four top-five finishes and four top-ten finishes at the .5-mile paved oval in eight starts.


Atop the Pit Box: Jeff Stankiewicz … Jeff Stankiewicz, crew chief of the No. 12 LG Air Conditioning Technologies Chevrolet Silverado, has comprehensive experience at the ‘World Center of Racing,’ with six starts and one pole award with driver Grant Enfinger (2016) in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series at the track. The two-time ARCA Racing Series championship crew chief boosts one victory at the Daytona International Speedway with Enfinger in 2015, two top-five finishes and two top-ten finishes at the 2.5-mile track.


Speedweeks 2019: Gus Dean, competed in the ARCA Racing Series season-opener behind-the-wheel of the No. 32 CAB Installers | Baker Distributing Co. Chevrolet for Win-Tron Racing. Dean finished the Lucas Oil 200 driven by General Tire in the 26th-place with 29 laps led. At the New Smyrna Speedway the 24-year old will race in a slew of Super Late Model races.

This Week's Young’s Motorsports’ Chevrolet Silverado at the Daytona International Speedway ... Spencer Boyd will pilot Chassis No. 007 in the NextEra Energy 250 at the Daytona International Speedway. The Andrew Abbott-led team last unloaded this Young’s Motorsports-prepared chassis at the Talladega Superspeedway on October 13, 2018 with driver Max Tullman where they finished in the ninth-place after starting in the 30th-place in the chassis’ second appearance of the 2018 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series season. At the Daytona International Speedway the chassis produced a fifth-place finish with driver Scott Lagasse, Jr. – producing Young’s Motorsports’ best finish at the Daytona International Speedway.


“World’s Most Famous Beach” … This weekend marks Spencer Boyd’s first Daytona International Speedway appearance with the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series. The St. Louis, Mo., driver has two starts at the Daytona International Speedway in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS). He made his track debut on February 17, 2018 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, finishing in the 25th-place.


In 2016, Boyd placed second on the speed chart to teammate Gus Dean in the ARCA Racing Series open testing at the Daytona International Speedway.


Restrictor Plate Stats: In one NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series start on a restrictor plate track (Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway), Spencer Boyd has an average finish of 13.0 with 95 laps completed.


Junior Year: NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series ... Spencer Boyd made his NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series debut on April 2, 2016 at the Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. Running a limited schedule, Boyd has six starts in the series. It will be the first full-time season for Boyd in the NASCAR Gander Outdoor Truck Series.


Atop the Pit Box: Andrew Abbott … Andrew Abbott, crew chief for the No. 20 1A Auto Chevrolet Silverado, has one top-five finish and two top-ten finishes in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series at the Daytona Beach, Fla.,-facility in three starts.
