2025 Driver Points Position: N/A | 2025 Owner Points Position: 35th

Notes of Interest:

● Welcome to the Family: This weekend at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis, Young’s Motorsports welcomes Forest Acres, S.C. native Jordan Anderson as the driver of the No. 20 Chevrolet Silverado RST for the first time in 2025.

Anderson, a former NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series driver and owner, will return to the Truck Series cockpit for the first time since Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway in October 2022, where he sustained second-degree burns to his neck, arms, hands and knees in a catastrophic mechanical failure at the 2.66-mile superspeedway.

Friday’s race will mark just the third time the Young’s Motorsports team has fielded its second competition entry this season, joining Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway and Texas Motor Speedway, piloted by Stefan Parsons.

● About Jordan: Jordan Anderson is a driver, team owner and inspirational figure in NASCAR known for his resilience and grassroots approach to racing. Hailing from Forest Acres, South Carolina, Anderson began his motorsports journey at the age of eight in go-karts before climbing the ranks through Legends and Late Model competition.

He made his NASCAR CRAFTSMAN® Truck Series debut in 2014 and quickly became known for his determination, launching the fan-supported “Fueled by Fans” campaign to keep his racing dreams alive despite financial challenges.

Over the years, he logged more than 130 Truck Series starts and earned multiple top-five and top-10 finishes, including memorable runner-up results at Daytona International Speedway in 2020 and 2021.

In 2018, Anderson expanded his role from driver to owner, founding Jordan Anderson Racing. The team steadily grew from a modest Truck Series operation into a competitive force in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

By 2025, the organization fielded multiple full-time entries — including the No. 27 Chevrolet for Jeb Burton and the No. 31 Chevrolet for Blaine Perkins — while Anderson himself returned to the driver’s seat part-time in the No. 32.

The team celebrated its first Xfinity Series win with Burton at Talladega in 2023, a major milestone reflecting Anderson’s persistence and leadership.

Whether behind the wheel or managing from the pit box, Anderson’s “embrace the journey” mentality continues to define his path in the sport, both as a competitor and a mentor.

Driver: Anthony Alfredo

Manufacturer: Chevrolet Camaro

Crew Chief: Andrew Abbott

2025 Driver Points Position: 23rd | 2025 Owner Points Position: 24th

Engine: Earnhardt-Childress Racing

● Year Two, Full Throttle: In January, Young’s Motorsports announced that NASCAR Xfinity Series veteran Anthony Alfredo would compete full-time for the team in its second year of Xfinity Series competition.

Alfredo is driving the No. 42 Young’s Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro for the entire 33-race schedule, which continues this Saturday afternoon with the Pennzoil 250 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

● About Anthony: A popular driver, Alfredo, a native of Ridgefield, Connecticut, joins Young’s Motorsports with an array of Motorsports experience, including starts in the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR CRAFTSMAN® Truck Series, respectively.

The 2025 season will mark Alfredo’s fourth full-time Xfinity Series campaign, and he joins the Mooresville, N.C.-based team after spending the 2024 season with Our Motorsports.

The 25-year-old finished 15th in the 2024 Xfinity Series driver standings, highlighted by a Dash 4 Cash victory at Dover (Del.) Motor Speedway. He added two more top-five finishes and seven top-10s to his career totals, further strengthening his résumé across 138 Xfinity Series starts.

All-Aboard!: For the 21st of 33 Xfinity Series races this season, Young’s Motorsports welcomes DUDE Wipes as the primary partner on the No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro for the 100-lap race on Saturday afternoon.

DUDE Wipes is the flagship product of DUDE Products, a men’s hygiene company that was founded in 2012 by lifelong friends in Chicago.

The U.S.-based company introduced DUDE Wipes as the first flushable wipe for adults, marketed as a better hygiene solution to dry toilet paper.

The brand is available online and in 20,000 stores nationwide, including Walmart, Target and Amazon.

Indianapolis marks the 11th race where DUDE Wipes has served as the anchor partner on the No. 42 Young’s Motorsports Chevrolet this season.

For the first time this season, DUDE Wipes is promoting their Mint Chill scent, which adds a cooling sensation after every use.

● Anthony Alfredo NASCAR Xfinity Series Indianapolis Motor Stats: Saturday afternoon’s Pennzoil 250 will mark Anthony Alfredo’s second trip to the Brickyard.

In his debut at the 2.5-mile legendary oval, Alfredo finished 34th after starting a strong fifth after being collected in a late race accident.

20 races into the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season — with just 13 remaining — Anthony Alfredo and the Young’s Motorsports No. 42 team remain laser-focused on one mission: mounting a late-summer charge toward the Playoffs.

Now, they set their sights on one of the most iconic battlegrounds in motorsports: Indianapolis Motor Speedway. With time running short, a win at The Racing Capital of the World could serve as a career-defining breakthrough in Alfredo’s postseason pursuit.

Conquering the 2.5-mile rectangle oval — where legends have kissed the bricks and history is written one lap at a time — would not only send a message to the rest of the Xfinity field but mark a pivotal shift in the momentum the team has been steadily building throughout the season.

Saturday’s 100-lap Xfinity Series event is more than just another race — it’s a test of patience, precision and poise on sacred ground. With the echoes of Indianapolis 500 glory and NASCAR milestones surrounding the circuit, Alfredo knows the opportunity ahead is no ordinary challenge.

The weekend culminates on Sunday, July 27, with the return of the 400 Brickyard, a crown jewel on the NASCAR Cup Series calendar and the finale of the in-season $1 million challenge, the ninth event in the second leg of the regular season.

For Alfredo and the No. 42 team, every corner turned in the Hoosier state could be a step closer to the postseason. And should they cross the Yard of Bricks first, it wouldn’t just be a win — it would be a statement etched into the history of Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

● Anthony Alfredo Xfinity Series Career Stats: Entering Indianapolis, Alfredo has 138 NASCAR Xfinity Series races to his credit, earning a career-best third-place finish twice, most recently at Talladega Superspeedway after starting 11th in the 2024 edition of the Ag-Pro 300 for Our Motorsports.

Since 2020, he has earned one pole, five top-five, and 23 top-10 finishes and has an average finish of 19.9.

● Dover Motor Speedway | BetRivers 200 Race Recap: The NASCAR Xfinity Series made its lone visit to Dover Motor Speedway, taking on the high-banked challenge of the Monster Mile for 200 grueling laps of high-speed intensity and unforgiving competition.

The weekend began with promise for Anthony Alfredo and the No. 42 Lanita Specialized Chevrolet team, as the Young’s Motorsports driver posted the fourth-fastest lap in Saturday’s practice session at Dover Motor Speedway.

However, the team couldn’t translate that early speed into a qualifying position, settling for a 26th-place starting position on the grid.

From the moment the green flag dropped over the Monster Mile, Alfredo — like much of the field — found overtaking a challenge, compounded by a loose-handling race car that kept him fighting behind the wheel.

Crew chief Andrew Abbott and the team went to work, making key adjustments ahead of Stage 2. The car responded well early in the run, but as laps wore on, the balance swung back toward the loose side, once again hindering Alfredo’s charge through the field.

It wasn’t until a final round of changes later in the race that the No. 42 Chevrolet truly came to life. Alfredo began clicking off fast laps and picking up positions — momentum building just as the skies began to darken.

Unfortunately, his progress came to a halt on Lap 131 when rain interrupted the event. Despite efforts to resume racing, the conditions didn’t cooperate and the race was officially declared complete, leaving Alfredo 23rd in the final rundown — 66 laps shy of the scheduled distance.

Now 20 races into the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, Anthony Alfredo and the No. 42 Young’s Motorsports team remain focused and forward-looking.

With the summer stretch in full swing, every lap, every adjustment and every finish takes on greater importance as they work to position themselves for a breakthrough victory — one that could launch them into the Playoffs and shift the momentum in their favor.

● Calling the Shots: Guiding Alfredo as crew chief of the No. 42 Young’s Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro is longtime crew chief Andrew Abbott.

On Saturday, he will be crew chief in his 150th NASCAR Xfinity Series race. In his previous 149 races, he has four top-five and 14 top-10 finishes.

The season’s 21st race will be his third tango at Indianapolis Motor Speedway as crew chief in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

● Young's Motorsports' NASCAR Xfinity Series at Indianapolis Motor Speedway: This weekend’s Pennzoil 250 will mark Young’s Motorsports' second NASCAR Xfinity Series appearance at the "Racing Capital of the World.”

Last summer, rookie Leland Honeyman Jr. finished 20th after starting 25th on the lead lap in a very competitive race.

In addition to Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Young’s Motorsports will be fielding two entries in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series TSport 200 race on Friday night at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis.

● Young's Motorsports' NASCAR Xfinity Series History: Since entering the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2024, the family-owned organization has logged 53 starts and maintains an average starting position of 25.9 and an average finish of 23.4.

Anthony Alfredo Pre-Race Quotes:

On Indianapolis Motor Speedway: “Indianapolis Motor Speedway is an iconic track and running the oval is certainly special. I can’t wait!

“Indianapolis is such an iconic track and it has the same sort of feeling as pulling into Daytona. Winning there would be a dream come true!”

On Preparation for Indianapolis Motor Speedway: “As usual, I’ve been watching film and studying data to prepare for this weekend’s race.

“Last year, this was a new package at this track, so there are a lot of things to learn from to be better. Everybody’s going to be on top of their game this time.”

On the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Layout: “Indianapolis Motor Speedway has very long straightaways, but very flat corners.

“There is a fine line between having good straight-line speed in your car and good handling in the corners or around other vehicles in dirty air.”

On Keys to Success at Indianapolis Motor Speedway: “Track position will be huge this weekend. Last year, we saw cars stay out on older tires and maintain their track position.

“That could be a great strategy to set yourself up well for the end or to get stage points.”

On Indianapolis Motor Speedway Performance Expectations: “Another top 15 run would be great for our team, given the stretch of results we’ve had recently.”

On Dover Motor Speedway Finish: “We struggled at Dover but did a great job at improving throughout the race by making good adjustments on the car.

“If we could’ve finished the race before Mother Nature showed up, I’m certain we would’ve had a top-15 result. It’s unfortunate the rain cut the race distance short.”

On Goals for the Second Half of the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series Season: “We have had a lot of ups and downs throughout the first half of the race season, but I’m confident we can recover by bringing fast cars to the track and executing well throughout this second half.

“We need more top-10s and a couple of top-fives before the end of the season. Ideally, winning just one race before the Playoffs is our ultimate goal because it would completely save our season.”

Race Information:

The Pennzoil 250 (100 laps | 250 miles) is the 21st of thirty-three (33) NASCAR Xfinity Series races on the 2025 schedule.
