IOWA SPEEDWAY: The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) travels to Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa this weekend for the ninth race of the season. As previously announced, Young’s Motorsports has recently expanded to three NCWTS teams and the trio will make their debut in this Saturday night’s M&M 200 presented by Casey’s General Store.
TEAM EXPANSION: The Young’s Motorsports No. 02 Chevrolet will be piloted by Austin Hill, the No. 20 GoShare Chevrolet by Tanner Thorson, and the No. 12 OEM2 Powered by TrüNorth™/Harrison Truck Centers/MDA Camp by Reid Wilson. Saturday’s race at Iowa Speedway will be the first visit for all three drivers to the 7/8-mile circuit.
AUSTIN HILL: Although this will be the Winston, Ga., native’s first visit to Iowa Speedway, Hill has had eight previous starts at other short tracks. He’s tallied six top-20 finishes overall and two top-10 scores, both coming at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.
TANNER THORSON: Saturday’s M&M 200 presented by Casey’s General Store will be Thorson’s second NCWTS start of the season. His only other NCWTS career start came at Dover (Del.) International Speedway earlier this year. The Minden, Nev., native qualified 20th and got better every stage of the race to finish in 16th.
REID WILSON: Over the past two years, Wilson has been a part of the Young’s Motorsports development program competing in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. This weekend’s race at Iowa Speedway will also be the Huntersville, N.C., native’s second-career NCWTS start. He made his NCWTS debut earlier this season at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway where he started 20th and finished 16th.
