THUNDER VALLEY: The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) continues the 2018 season this Thursday night at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway for the UNOH 200. Young’s Motorsports will enter the Young’s Building Systems RANDCO No. 02 of Austin Hill and the Ohio Logistics K&L Ready Mix No. 20 of Tanner Thorson.
HILL’S BRISTOL BULLRING HISTORY: The Winston, Ga., native has two NCWTS starts at the bullring, both with Young’s Motorsports. In 2016, Hill finished 19th and 22nd the following year. He has also made three NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE) starts at Bristol Motor Speedway earning a 16th-place finish in 2013, followed up by fifth- and seventh-place scores the next two years.
THORSON AT THE LAST GREAT COLOSSEUM: The Minden, Nev., native has one start at the half-mile circuit that came earlier this season with Young’s Motorsports in the NKNPSE. He started the Zombie Auto 150 from ninth and ran a strong race before getting spun out by another competitor late in the 150-lap race, relegating him to a 23rd-place finish. The UNOH 200 will be Thorson’s fifth NCWTS start of the season.
