As the 2024 season comes to a close, we want to take this opportunity to reflect on the journey we’ve had. This year has been filled with remarkable growth and achievements, electrifying moments, and the joy of being part of the fast-paced world of the NASCAR National Series.
From beginning our twelfth consecutive Craftsman Truck Series season to expanding into full-time Xfinity Series competition, 2024 was filled with exciting new challenges. We set goals and pushed our limits week in and out to continue to prove our willingness and determination to be a part of both series.
Our team debut in the Xfinity Series and rookie Leleand Honeyman, Jr. brought on a new level of enthusiasm and determination to the organization. Honeyman's fast learning and fearless approach to the intense thirty-three-week schedule proved rewarding for the No. 42 team. The Xfinity program had many team and driver successes to celebrate, including a career-best fourth-place finish at Talladega (Spring), 2 top-10 finishes, and 22nd ranking in overall driver points. We are very proud of Leland for all he accomplished this season and the success of our Xfinity program.
Mason Massey anchored our flagship No. 02 Chevrolet Silverado entry for 16 events, tying his best career finish with his long-time partners at Brunt in the spring at Martinsville (11th). No. 46 entry piloted by Thad Moffitt joined the organization mid-summer, and our crew continued fielding two truck entries for the remainder of the season.
37 entries and 13 drivers, including 4 drivers making their Truck Series debuts - we have a lot to celebrate.
As we wind down and prepare for the offseason, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our sponsors, partners, loyal and new fans. Your support means everything to us. The energy you bring to the stands, words of encouragement, and your passion for motorsports motivates us to strive for better results each week. We could not have done this without your support.
We are filled with optimism for the 2025 racing season. Our goals remain the same: to compete at the highest level while keeping the values of sportsmanship, integrity, and family that Young’s Motorsports is built on. We are already hard at work planning for next season on how to keep moving forward building fast cars and growing stronger relationships within the entire team.
